This document describes the data we collect and how it is used.
Generally speaking, we have no interest in processing personal data through this website.
In short, our privacy policy is based on storing as little privacy-sensitive data as possible.
Visitors
For visitors, we may collect IP addresses as well as data about the user’s browser, such as operating system and browser version, as a normal part of logging procedures. This data may be used for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and traffic pattern analysis.
Regarding IP addresses, we use the anonymization feature (_anonymizeIp) in Google Analytics. In short, this means that the last digits of the IP address are removed.
A tool we can recommend if you wish to completely opt out of performance cookies is the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Analytics with IP anonymization
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google uses the collected data to track and examine the use of this application, prepare reports on its activities, and share them with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize ads within its own advertising network. This integration of Google Analytics anonymizes your IP address. It works by shortening users’ IP addresses within EU member states or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server and shortened in the USA.

- Personal data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
- Personal data collected for the purposes of the Owner’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as necessary to fulfill such purposes. Users may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner within the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Owner.
The Owner may be allowed to retain personal data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, the Owner may be obliged to retain personal data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.
Once the retention period expires, personal data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification, and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after the retention period has expired.
